Overview
The Great Ocean Road is one of the world's greatest coastal drives stretching 243km along Victoria's southwest coast. Built between 1919-1932 by returning WWI soldiers as a living memorial, it's Australia's National Heritage-listed scenic route that combines dramatic cliffside ocean views, ancient rainforests, and iconic rock formations.
This Road trip itinerary takes you from Melbourne to Adelaide via the entire coast, or can be done as a return loop from Melbourne connecting to Sydney via the inland route.
