The medina of Marrakech assaulted all my senses—the smell of spices, the sight of colorful rugs, the sounds of merchants haggling. Stayed in a traditional riad, woke to calls to prayer. Traveled south to the Sahara, rode camels across golden dunes, and spent a night under infinite stars. Morocco transformed my perspective on travel. Ten days became the most life-changing week of my journey.
